

Computer giant Apple is recruiting a Supplier Responsibility Compliance Project Manager to help audit its supply chain. Candidates will have experience in social responsibility auditing and program management, with expertise in auditing large industrial facilities and a background in human resource management and/or environment, health and safety issues. The Cupertino, California-based role works with Apple’s Supplier Responsibility Compliance Manager as part of the team responsible for contributing to Apple’s Supplier Responsibility (SR) program. Robert De Rito, head of financial risk management at APG Asset Management in the US, has been named as an investor appointee to the Alternative Investment Management Association, the hedge fund trade body. AIMA also named Andrew Bastow, general counsel at Winton Capital Management and Chris Pearce, Asia chief operating officer at Marshall Wace Asia, as deputy chairmen.
Kate Greenhill has been appointed as a non-executive director at sustainability focused asset manager Australian Ethical. She is a former Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers and is currently a director and member of the finance committee for a not for profit organisation. Link
Robert Lederer has been named as the first ever Executive Director of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), an industry body which focuses on human rights and environmental issues in electronics firms’ supply chains. Lederer has over three decades of experience managing industry associations and is a former mayor of Fairfax, Virginia. Incoming chairman Tim Mohin is the Director of Corporate Responsibility at chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Christina Lindbäck has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Corporate Sustainability at Sweden-based construction and property developer NCC. Lindbäck is a board member of the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research and is a former Chair of the Swedish Association of Environmental Managers.
Christine Stewart is leaving her role as Communications Manager at CSR Europe, the European business network for corporate social responsibility with around 70 multinational corporations as members. A recruitment process for her replacement is ongoing. Link
Joakim Mörnefält has been named as the executive director of the National Geographic Society’s Global Exploration Fund in Northern Europe, the first of National Geographic’s new regional centers around the globe to fund research, conservation and exploration projects. The Stockholm-based Northern European Fund launched in 2011 with support from the Swedish Postcode Lottery. Mörnefält was formerly marketing and communications director at ManpowerGroup Sweden. Norges Bank Investment Management, the arm of the Norwegian central bank which runs the Government Pension Fund, has advertised several New York-based fixed income vacancies.
