Accounting for Sustainability survey calls for institutional investor input

Project seeking more responses from investors

The Prince of Wales’s Accounting for Sustainability Project (A4S) is seeking responses from institutional investors for its online consultation into integrated reporting.
The project is looking into how current corporate reporting shows the relationship between financial data and environmental, social and governance (ESG) information. It also wants feedback on the guidance developed by A4S to help organisations integrate sustainability information within annual accounts.
A4S is hoping to stimulate “thought and debate” onthe concept of integrated reporting. The findings will feed into the new International Integrated Reporting Committee, which was formed by A4S and the Global Reporting Initiative in August.
“The survey has been open for a few weeks, but the percentage of investor responses is quite small and it would be great if we could increase this,” says Project Manager Karen McCulloch. She added that the closing date of October 15 may be extended to give people a chance to respond.
The survey should take around 15-20 minutes to complete. Link to survey
