UK council tenders for corporate governance and environment overlay specialist on £1bn portfolio

East Sussex County Council goes to market to strengthen voting and engagement.

East Sussex County Council Pension Fund, Lewes, England, has issued a request for proposal (RFP) for a corporate governance overlay manager “encompassing voting and engagement” with “particular emphasis on environmental impact,” according to an announcement on European procurement platform Tenders Electronic Daily. The overlay will cover the £1.4 billion ($2.3 billion) fund’s global equity portfolio, which totals about £1 billion.Proposals are due by December 10.
