“People are looking at sustainability as a way to lead out of the crisis,” says George Latham, Managing Partner at WHEB Asset Management.
He thinks the pandemic could be a “galvanizing event” for the ESG sector and a potential reason for optimism.
But being a long-term investor doesn’t mean that you ignore the short-term: “It’s really about how you put into the context of what it means over the long term.”
