FTSE RI chief Will Oulton to leave the company

FTSE yet to publicly announce replacement.

Will Oulton, director of Responsible Investment at FTSE, the index group, is leaving the company.
The company has announced internally that Oulton will depart at the end of April. His destination is not yet known, although it is believed that he will stay in the sustainable investment space. FTSE has not yet made public who will replace Oulton as director of RI and the company could not be reached at the time of going to press.
Oulton, a well-known speaker and author on RI and environmental investing issues, lead the development ofthe FTSE4Good index and the company’s Environmental Markets Indices. Last year, he edited “Investment Opportunities for a Low Carbon World”, a book on green investing.
He is also a board member of the European Sustainable Investment Forum (Eurosif), the Responsible Investment Academy of Australia, and the UKSiF’s Sustainable Pensions Advisory Board. In September 2009, he was appointed as an Honorary Special Lecturer at Nottingham University Business School.
