People & Appointments: Eastspring Investments hires Head of Sustainability

The latest ESG movers and shakers

Eastspring Investments, the Asian asset management business of Prudential, has appointed Stuart Wilson as Head of Sustainability – a newly created role. He joins Eastspring in the new year after 10 years at Sunsuper as Head of Responsible Investment, and will focus on further integrating ESG considerations into investment processes and develop sustainability-themed products and solutions.  Subject to regulatory approvals, Stuart will start on 10 January 2022 and report directly to Wai-Kwong Seck, Eastspring's Chief Executive Officer. 

Insight Investment has made two new hires to its ESG investment team. Fabien Collado joins as ESG Portfolio Manager, having spent 12 years at AXA Investment Managers managing ESG-integrated portfolios. Rhona Cormack joins as Senior Stewardship Analyst after five years as a specialist in climate change and sustainability at EY.

Julia Haake has joined Moody’s ESG Solutions as a market strategy Managing Director. She was previously at ISS, most recently as the Global Head of Stewardship and Engagement. ISS ESG promoted Edouard Dubois to the role of Global Head of Stewardship & Engagement in early September. 

Gianluca Anipasqua has left his position as Corporate Governance Research Analyst and Head of Italian Research at ISS after almost seven years. He has yet to announce his next move.  

Tanguy Claquin has been promoted to Global Head of Sustainability at Crédit Agricole CIB. He has been the bank since 2006 and created its Sustainable Banking unit in 2009. In his new position, he will be part of Credit Agricole’s expansion of its Sustainable Investment Banking team and the creation of a Climate & Sustainability strategy team.  

Thomas Kjærgaard is leaving Danish pension provider Velliv after about four years, most recently as its head of ESG, he announced on LinkedIn.   

Siobhan Cleary has left her position as Finance Sector Engagement Lead at Science Based Target Networks. On LinkedIn she says that her next step is “Into the world of asset management” without announcing further details.
