

Jane Goodland, former Global Head of Sustainable and Responsible Investment at Willis Towers Watson, has been appointed Group Head of Sustainability at the London Stock Exchange Group. Goodland, who is Deputy Chair of the Investment Association’s Corporate Affairs Committee, left her previous role as Group Corporate Affairs Director at Quilter in July this year.
John Chilman, Chief Executive of UK pension fund RPMI Railpen, will become Chair of the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association’s policy board in October. Chilman, who also chairs the PLSA’s defined benefit committee and is a council member at the Pensions Policy Institute, replaces Emma Douglas, who was recently named as the incoming Chair of the PLSA.
London-based Osmosis Investment Management has appointed Matthew Killeya to its investment committee, to help the $3.2bn ESG house develop its strategic direction. Killeya spent a decade at quant hedge fund Cantab Capital Partners – now owned by GAM – where he was a Partner, Head of Research and co-Chief Investment Officer. Osmosis, which uses a quantitative approach, has seen its assets double over two years.
Romina Reversi has joined Credit Agricole as its new Head of Sustainable Banking for the Americas. Reversi, who leaves her role focused on ESG debt capital markets in the Americas for JP Morgan, is a member of the Green and Social Bond Principles, and sits on the sustainability-linked bonds working group.
Daniel Simard has announced his intention to retire as CEO of Canadian pension fund Bâtirente after more than 25 years in the role. Simard, who was Member of the Principles for Responsible Investment’s Board of Directors and Advisory Board for nine years, will remain as a Special Management Advisor until June 2022. He will be replaced by Eric Filion, Bâtirente’s Chief Operating Officer.
Valeria Piani has left her role as Executive Director, Sustainable and Impact Investing at UBS to become Head of Stewardship at Phoenix Groups sustainable investing team. Piani, who was Associate Director, ESG Engagements at the Principles for Responsible Investment for nine years before joining UBS, will be responsible for Phoenix’s engagement and voting strategy.
Allison L. Spector has joined private equity firm One Rock Capital Partners as its Head of ESG. Spector leaves her roles in Nuveen’s responsible investment team, where she led sustainability initiatives for its real assets and private markets group.
Anoushka Babbar has joined FTSE Russell as Head of Sustainable Investment Index Policy. Babbar, who leaves her role as Director, Government Relations and Regulatory Strategy at the London Stock Exchange Group, has held a number of roles at the Financial Conduct Authority and took part in the Bank of England’s Fair and Effective Markets Review.
Vincent van Bijleveld has become Managing Director of the newly launched Global Real Estate Engagement Network. Van Bijleveld remains in his role as Managing Consultant at Dutch consultancy Finance Ideas.
Irina van der Sluijs has joined NN Investment Partners as a Senior Responsible Investment Specialist. Van der Sluijs leaves her role as Engagement Manager at ASN Bank.
Marcel Leistenschneider has joined sustainability consulting firm Environmental Resources Management as a Partner. Leistenschneider leaves his role as Senior Technical Sales Manager at Sustainalytics, where he worked for seven years.
Angelo Manioudakis has been named Chief Investment Officer at Northern Trust Asset Management. Manioudakis leaves his role as Managing Partner at Lantern Harbor Investment Partners, which he joined from his role as Chief Investment Officer for Fidelity’s Global Asset Allocation division. He replaces Bob Browne, who joined Northern Trust in 2009 and announced his intention to retire in June.
Benoit Boisseuil and Tom Ritchie have joined Cibus Funds, the sustainable food and agriculture investor, as Investment Directors. Boisseuil leaves his role as Vice President at private equity firm AGIC while Ritchie leaves his role as Investment Director at Rabobank’s food and agriculture venture capital fund.
Johann Weicht has left his role as Assistant Manager, Sustainability Services at KPMG Germany. Weicht, who also joined KPMG IMPACT’s Future Leaders Council in 2020, said that his next role would also be in sustainable finance, but did not disclose further details.
Tracey Groves has joined advisory firm StoneTurn as a Partner. Groves, who worked at PwC for 26 years, most recently as a Partner working on compliance, ethics and UK governance in 2017, is also on the Financial Reporting Council’s Corporate Governance Advisory Panel. She has been the CEO of advisory firm Intelligent Ethics Limited since 2017.
Anna Rudgard has joined Brown Advisory as a Fixed Income ESG Analyst based in London. Rudgard leaves her role as Senior Consultant at Aon, where she was lead researcher for its fixed income ESG strategies.
Yusuf Durmaz has joined Quilter Cheviot as a Fund Research Analyst, supporting its ESG and sustainable strategy research. Durmaz, who has previously worked at GAM, leaves his role at Allfunds, where he was a Fund Analyst for global equities, sustainable and thematics.
Laura de Ornelas Pring has joined the Principles for Responsible Investment as Empowering Asset Owners Director. De Ornelas Pring has previously held investment strategist and analyst roles at RPMI Railpen, the BP Pension Fund and the National Grid Pension Scheme.
