

Elizabeth Corley and Rhian-Mari Thomas have been named to an advisory group supporting the UK government in trade negotiations as the country prepares to leave the EU. Corley, the former CEO of Allianz Global Investors, currently chairs the Impact Investing Institute that resulted from the 2019 merger of the Implementation Taskforce for Growing a Culture of Social Impact Investing in the UK and the UK National Advisory Board on Impact Investing. Thomas, a Barclays veteran, heads up the Green Finance Institute, a government initiative championing green finance.
Anders Langworth has been elected to a seat on the UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative’s Banking Board – the new governance body for the Principles for Responsible Banking. The principles, developed by a core group of 30 banks, were launched last year and are intended as a “framework for the sustainable banking system of the future”. Langworth is Nordea’s Head of Group Sustainable Finance and founder of non-profit Bankers for Climate.
The Principle for Responsible Investment (PRI) is seeking a Head of Climate Change to grow the PRI’s climate change capacity across the organisation, have oversight over programme KPIs and operational management of the team. The successful candidate will report to PRI Climate Change Director Sagarika Chatterjee.
Marie-Josée Privyk is now Head of ESG Innovation and Client Success at ESG data house Novisto. Privyk was most recently an ESG Advisor at Canadian consultancy FinComm Services. The recently established Novisto says it is “building the world's most advanced ESG data management and analytics software”.
The Finance Innovation Lab, a joint initiative of WWF UK and accounting body ICAEW that seeks to reorient the financial system “so it serves people and planet”, is seeking a new Chair. The Lab is finalising its 2030 strategy and is now looking to “diversify” its board by recruiting a Chair “who can complement the expertise of our existing board members, or that holds an identity currently under-represented on the board”.
Stephanie Cohn Rupp and Richard Chen have been appointed as COO and General Counsel by Veris Wealth Partners, an impact focused wealth management firm with around $1.5bn assets under management. Cohn Rupp is a former impact investment head at wealth manager Tiedemann Advisors and CEO of impact investment platform Toniic.
Brandon Boros, Tamar Honig and Sophie Whelchel have been hired by impact advisory Align Impact to expand its investment research team. They were named Direct Investment Associate Director, Private Funds Analyst and Direct Investment Analyst, respectively. The hires will report to Director of Investments Hummayun Javed.
Cate Lamb has been seconded to the UN’s COP26 High Level Climate Action Champions team where she is the Lead on Water. In this role, she will coordinate and drive climate actions from non-state actors ahead of next year’s COP26. Lamb is currently the Director of Water Security for sustainability reporting platform CDP.
