Erin Bigley has been promoted to chief responsibility officer at AllianceBernstein. She has worked at the firm for 25 years, most recently as head of fixed income responsible investing. Bigley replaces Michelle Dunstan, who has left the asset manager after more than 18 years of service.
The UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association has appointed two board members, Rishi Madlani and Maria Nazarova-Doyle. Madlani, who is head of climate and sustainable finance at NatWest Group, was re-elected after an initial four-year term. Nazarova-Doyle is a newly appointed member, who works as head of pension investments and responsible investment at Scottish Widows.
Paul Hewitt has been named responsible investment manager at London Pensions Fund Authority. Hewitt joins from Minerva Analytics, where he worked as stewardship director. He is also a director at The Maltings and AORI Consulting.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore has hired Gillian Tan as chief sustainability officer. She replaces Darian McBain, who has assumed an advisory role at MAS until the end of the year. Tan has worked at MAS for more than seven years and will continue her role as assistant managing director alongside her new position.
Amanda Kizer has been appointed Bain Capital’s ESG and impact lead. She joins from Nuveen, where she worked as an impact director for one year.
Alpha Real Capital has named Maria Vaggione ESG associate. She joins from Gore Street Capital, where she was ESG and investor relations associate for one year.
Norges Bank Investment Management is recruiting a senior investment stewardship manager. The role will require the manager to lead engagements with company boards and senior management on climate-related topics. Applications for the position will close on 28 October.
