

Roderick Munsters has rejoined PGGM Investments as one of three Supervisory Board Members, supervising asset management alongside Paul Boomkamp and Chairman Edwin Velzel. Munsters left the Dutch pension investment giant in 2004, having been Executive Director and chief investment officer, and went on to senior roles at fellow Dutch giants ABP/APG and Robeco. He has board posts at Moody’s Investors Service, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (France).
Chris Davis is retiring from his longstanding role as Senior Director and Chief of Staff of the Ceres Investor Network on Climate Risk and Sustainability. Current Senior Director of the California office Kirsten Spalding will take up the position, while Davis will retain a senior advisory role. Prior to joining Ceres in 2010, Davis spent almost 30 years practicing environmental law.
There are four new board members at the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC), the European investor network representing more than €21trn in assets. They are: Sasja Beslik, Head of Group Sustainable Finance, Nordea Group; Tatiana Bosteels, Director Responsibility & Head RPI, Hermes Investment Management; Gerald Cartigny, Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Member of the Executive Committee, MN; and Adam Matthews, Director of Ethics & Engagement, Church of England Pensions Board.
Tim Warrington has been named CEO of Norwegian asset manager Skagen Funds, which is now part of Storebrand Group. Warrington, who’s been with Skagen for 10 years and who was acting CEO after Øyvind Schanke stepped down in May, chairs the Group of Boutique Asset Managers trade body. Alexandra Morris remains investment director. There have also been changes at the fund manager level with Cathrine Gether and Fredrik Bjelland named to head up Skagen Kon-Tiki while Jonas Edholm will take up the reins of Skagen Focus. Meanwhile, Storebrand Asset Management (SAM) will be responsible for the portfolio management of Skagen’s internationally marketed fixed income funds, Skagen Tellus and Skagen Avkastning, from September 1.
Angelien Kemna, the former chief executive at APG Asset Management, has joined the Supervisory Board of Dutch merchant bank NIBC.
Eileen Haughey has now left her role as chief executive of the BT Pension Scheme, according to a filing at Companies House. She announced earlier this year that she would leave after the conclusion of the fund’s latest actuarial valuation. She joined the scheme in 2013 from the ICI Pension Fund.
Jonathan Haymon has been named Head of UK Research at governance research firm Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), promoted from Vice-President and manager in the UK Research team. Rachit Gupta becomes Deputy Head of UK Research. It follows the departure of Nathan Leclercq, ISS’ current Head of UK Research, who will be rejoining his firmer firm Aviva Investors.DNCA Finance – an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers – has created a Responsible Investment department, to be headed up by Léa Dunand-Chatellet. The move comes after the firm signed the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment last year. In her new role, Dunand-Chatellet will be responsible for setting up the Responsible and Sustainable Investment team, which will provide fund managers – its forthcoming SRI fund range in particular – with in-house research. She has formerly served as Equity CIO at Mirova, and portfolio manager and head of ESG research at Sycomore Asset Management, where she set up and managed a €700m AUM range of SRI funds.
Daniel Summerfield, co-head of Responsible Investment at Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), will now head its corporate affairs work, in a newly created position.
Reto Schnarwiler has succeeded Kaspar Müller as Chairman of the Board at Swiss $3bn development investments asset manager responsAbility investments AG. A member of the board since 2009, Schnarwiler is also on the board of APA Insurance Group in Kenya and chairman of the Insurance Council of the African Leadership University. Separately, Fanny Ruighaver is named Head of Business Development Benelux, moving from her position as Senior Relationship Manager NL at Candriam. She’s also had stints at Oikocredit and Triodos Bank.
The C$189.5bn (€122.7bn) Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) has named its former Senior Managing Director, Capital Markets Ziad Hindo as its new chief investment officer. President and CEO Ron Mock had been serving as interim CIO after Bjarne Graven Larsen’s departure in April.
Dan Gocher has joined the Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility (ACCR) as Director of Climate & Environment. Golcher said that in his new role he wants to promote more ambitious climate action among Australian companies and their investors, in areas such as setting emission reduction targets, actively investing in renewables and lobbying for better policy outcomes.
Milla Craig, co-founder of the Finance and Sustainability Initiative and founder of ESG advisor Millani, has joined the board at Canada’s Responsible Investment Association (RIA).
Dutch money manager MN has picked Norbert Hoogers to replace departing CEO René van de Kieft, who in March announced he was leaving to devote more time to his personal ambitions. Hoogers was CEO of Zilveren Kruis until one year ago, a position which concluded his 15 year stretch of executive roles at the health insurer.
