Responsible Investor is today (January 18) launching the website for a brand new membership-based media service for corporates called Responsible Company, and we’re kicking it off with a three-part series of free launch webinars, starting this Wednesday, Jan 20.
Responsible Company will be free-to-air for 3 months, and you can sign up for the first webinar, titled: Are the SDGs fit for purpose?, for free, straight away.
In this first Responsible Company webinar, we’re going to be examining and discussing whether there is really a business ‘use-case’ for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and hearing what investors think about the financial and social value of the SDGs.
Responsible Company is a new membership platform where companies can:
- Publish their sustainability reports to thousands of investors worldwide via Responsible Investor.
- Access monthly tailored, relevant Smart Papers on key ESG issues. These are the position documents for our webinar corporate-investor-stakeholder discussions. They are fully referenced and designed to be relevant, practical and useful documents.
- Tune in to the monthly Responsible Company Webinars, which are expertly moderated by our experienced corporate sustainability and financial journalism professionals and feature hand-picked, top-level speakers. The Responsible Company Webinars are where relevant, practical and useful corporate-investor-stakeholder discussions happen.
The forward calendar for the 2021 Responsible Company Smart Paper and Webinar series can be seen here.
Responsible Company is led by Helen Wood Gush, RI’s Corporate Access Leader, Hugh Wheelan, Co-Founder and Joint Managing Director, and Valentina Delille, Responsible Company Account Associate.
Helen Wood Gush, RI’s Corporate Access Leader, said: “An important part of what we’re doing is to promote corporate sustainability reporting to investors as ESG issues increasingly become part of company strategy and products. Responsible Company Members can publish their annual Corporate Sustainability Reports on the Responsible Investor (RI) website Reports Channel, making them available to RI’s global investor readership.
They will be published on the RI Reports Channel and also sent out on the RI e-mail alert, meaning that they will be dynamically promoted to thousands of RI readers. This is an exclusive opportunity for Responsible Company Members to broadcast free-of-charge the company’s sustainability information to shareholders, service providers and stakeholders, and build on/promote the sustainability work that is being done at the company.”
