Trucost, the environmental data provider, has advertised two senior vacancies in North America – where its business is “growing at 60+%”. It is seeking a Head of Business Development – reporting directly to the Executive Director who has global responsibilities for business development and marketing. It also requires a Business Development Manager. Trucost was founded in 2000 is headquartered in London and has offices in Boston and New York and partners worldwide. Link

Naoko Ishii has taken office as CEO and Chair of the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the world’s largest public funder of environmental projects. Dr. Ishii, Japan’s Deputy Vice Minister of Finance, was appointed to succeed Monique Barbut earlier this year. “I begin my tenure at a time when the GEF is ready to shift from being a ‘silent partner’ in the global environmental community to having a more active voice,” Ishii said. Ökoworld, the Luxemburg-based sustainable funds firm, has named Alexander Mozer as managing director. Mozer joined Ökoworld at the start of 2011 and was promoted to Head of Portfolio Management just six months later. He was previously head of emerging market investments at Cominvest, the former asset management arm of Commerzbank.James Hughes, chief executive of First Solar, has been appointed to the Nasdaq-listed solar photovoltaic technology company’s board. Hughes, who was appointed CEO in May, succeeds company founder Mike Ahearn. Announcement

The SRI broker research team at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) in London is looking for an analyst for a year’s contract in its London office starting November 1, 2012. The analyst will join SG’s Equity Research Team dedicated to SRI and the firm is looking for a second job mover for an SRI professional with experience working at a rating agency, buy-side or sell-side SRI research firm, consultancy or NGO.
Eurosif, the European Sustainable Investment Forum, is seeking an Administration and Events Coordinator. The role, located in Brussels, reports to Eurosif’s Executive Director and has a start date of mid-October. Link

The UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is seeking a Coordinator for its Mitigation, Data and Analysis programme. The role reports directly to UNFCCC Executive Secretary Christiana Figueres and is based in Bonn with a salary of up to $110,741. The UNFCCC is also seeking a Programme Officer and an Associate Programme Officer for the programme. Link
