

Peter DeSimone is leaving his position as director of programs at the Social Investment Forum to join the Washington-based Sustainable Investments Institute (Si2) as Deputy Director, the organisation he co-founded in 2009 with Executive Director Heidi Welsh. He will help build Si2’s membership and original research, drawing on 16 years’ experience in proxy analysis, sustainability research and corporate engagement.

Elizabeth Corley, chief executive of Allianz Global Investors Europe, has been appointed a non-executive director of the Financial Reporting Council, the UK watchdog which oversees the Stewardship Code. “Elizabeth’s European experience will be particularly important as we negotiate with Brussels on corporate governance issues in the coming year,” the FRC said.
