ASN is the sustainable bank that is part of SNS Reaal. Huijnen joined SPF Beheer in 2007 and is a member of the research committee at corporate governance network Eumedion.
Christopher Ailman, Chief Investment Officer of the $163.7bn (€193.8bn) California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS) has joined the 300 Club, the group of investment figures founded by Hermes Fund Managers’ CEO Saker Nusseibeh. Ailman, who sits on several boards and advisory boards in the US and UK, and is a member of the International Corporate Governance Network.

Sean Gallary has been named as Managing Director of ORIX USA Asset Management, the US arm of the Japan-based company which recently acquired Dutch asset manager Robeco. Gallary will “share responsibility for investing ORIX USA’s capital in asset management activities, including strategic acquisitions”. He was most recently MD at Asset Management Finance (AMF), a boutique firm majority owned by Credit Suisse. Announcement
Barry Tootell has stood down as CEO of the UK’s Co-operative Banking Group. It follows a downgrading by ratings agency Moody’s and the collapse of a deal to acquire parts of Lloyds Banking Group. Rod Bulmer becomes acting CEO.Robert Leary has been named as executive vice president and president of TIAA–CREF Asset Management, the arm of the $520bn US financial services organization which provides retirement services in the academic, research, medical and cultural fields. Leary, most recently president and chief operating officer of ING in the US, will report to Chief Executive Roger Ferguson and be based at the company’s New York headquarters. Link

Charlie Porter has been named as a non-executive director at F&C, the UK funds house. He was formerly responsible for F&C’s retail and wholesale business, including investment trusts.
