Knut Kjaer, the former chief executive of Norges Bank Investment Management and president of RiskMetrics, is to head a new asset management firm – according to reports in the Norwegian press. Kjaer left RiskMetrics after it was bought by MSCI in a $1.55bn deal last year.

Hans-Christoph Hirt, global head of corporate engagement at Hermes Equity Ownership Services, has been named to the company’s board, according to a filing at Companies House. He joined Hermes EOS in 2004 and is the principal author of the Hermes Corporate Governance Principles.
Kristi Savacool and Baljit Dail have been named as co-CEOs of consulting firm Aon Hewitt. The pair, currently CEOs of Benefits Administration Consulting respectively, will report to Greg Case, president and chief executive officer of Aon.
