Odin Knudsen, managing director for environmental markets at J.P. Morgan Chase, has resigned, according to a Bloomberg report. It said Knudsen, the former head of the World Bank Carbon Fund, left by mutual consent as the bank scales back its climate-related activities.
Lloyd Kurtz, Chief Investment Officer at Nelson Capital Management and lecturer at the Center for Responsible Business at Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, has joined the Editorial Board of FSinsight, the finance and sustainability platform. “At FSinsight he will be one of the key authors on Sustainable and Responsible Investments, with a focus on socially responsible investing,” it said. Helene Winch, head of policy at BT Pension Scheme Management, has been appointed a director of Hermes Equity Ownership Services, the engagement arm of BTPS-owned Hermes Fund Managers, according to a filing at Companies House. Winch is a former Associate Director, Alternative Investments at Hermes Investment Management.

His former role as VP, Finance and Administration will be assumed by Thierry de Longuemar. Ed Grzybowski is to retire as chief investment officer of TIAA–CREF, the US retirement services provider with $440bn in assets under management. Carol Deckbar was named to the new role of chief operating officer of TIAA–CREF Asset Management. Lisa Black, managing director, Global Public Markets and head of public fixed-income portfolio management, becomes head of Global Public Markets.
