Elza Holmstedt Pell will become Responsible Investor’s new Deputy Editor as part of its expansion into private markets and specialist asset classes, including infrastructure and real assets.
Holmstedt Pell has spent nearly a decade covering ESG, sustainable finance, renewables, energy law and policy, green infrastructure and M&A markets – as a Senior Reporter, an Assistant Editor and a freelance journalist. Since 2019, she has been working on events and strategic content at Responsible Investor.
Holmstedt Pell, a Swedish national based in the UK, will work closely with Sophie Robinson-Tillett, Editor of Responsible Investor.
“This is an exciting time for RI,” said Robinson-Tillett. “Over the past 12 months, we’ve added Gina Gambetta and Dominic Webb to our editorial team, and Elza’s decision to join us has really put the cherry on top during a very busy period for sustainable finance and ESG.”
Hugh Wheelan, Co-founder and Joint Managing Director of Responsible Investor, said: “We’re delighted that Elza is joining our growing, award-winning editorial team and bringing a wealth of experience across private markets and alternative asset classes to the team. This is especially important at a time when both of these sectors are increasingly concerned by the regulatory push on sustainable finance globally, and involved in large-scale investments on the themes of climate change and impact.”
