The shortlists for the RI Awards for Innovation & Industry Leadership 2017 are published today, three weeks in advance of the inaugural RI Awards Dinner to be held on the evening of Tuesday 6th June at the RI Europe 2017 conference, the 10-year anniversary of the flagship sustainable finance conference, where the winners and runners up will be announced.
The RI Awards for Innovation & Industry Leadership are designed to motivate and reward organisations and individual practitioners for their contributions to the promotion and development of responsible investment.
They sit alongside the RI Awards for best practice in responsible investment reporting by asset owners and asset managers.
Responsible Investor has ‘crowdsourced’ nominations, shortlists and the eventual winners by inviting submissions from as broad a spectrum of peers as possible and then ranking then via a large, global judging panel of 80+ distinguished experts from multiple disciplines that are industry representative.
The Awards received more than 130 nominations (many initiatives received multiple nominations), which have been condensed into a set of six short lists. RI will publish full entry details for the winners and runners up after the awards.
The judges were asked to review, assess and rank the leading three winning entries in each category, focusing on innovation, leadership, relevance to institutional investment, change-making potential (i.e. collaboration, ability to bring about transformation, longevity), and clarity.
Attendance to the RI Awards is by invitation only and to find out more information about attending: click the link*RI Awards for Innovation & Industry Leadership 2017*
