

Erika Karp, the Head of Global Sector Research at UBS Investment Bank and one of the global broking community’s leading voices on sustainability, is leaving the bank for other opportunities.
UBS confirmed she will leave on August 1 and that she will not be directly replaced.
Karp is a founding board member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), a member of the US SIF Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investing and sits on the working group of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IRRC).She is a member of the program design advisory council for Harvard Business School’s ‘Innovating for Sustainability’ programme and also sits on UBS’s Environmental and Human Rights Committee.
She trained in economics at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and has an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School. She joined UBS in 1999 as Executive Director, Head of US Research Product Management after eight years with Credit Suisse First Boston.
