Sae Imamura

Sae is Responsible Investor’s Event Leader in charge of content development for Asia. She joined as Events Coordinator in 2016 where she was responsible for logistics coordination for all RI events. She moved onto her current position in 2018 taking over agenda development and speaker acquisition for the RI Asia Japan conference. Before joining RI, Sae was working on an education project in the occupied Palestinian Territories as a regional representative for a Japanese NGO. She was in charge of fund acquisition, project development and operation with a local partner, as well as liaising with local authorities and donors. She was also involved in the operation of various professional training projects including ‘the Program for Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding’ (2009-2015) commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Sae holds a B.A. in International Studies, and an M.A. in International Development.
